We ask the volunteers taking on a board position to commit to a min. 2-year term, this helps with consistency. The terms are staggered such that on average 3-4 board members roll-off per year so we do not have a situation where the entire board changes on the same year. Below is a Word document of Job Desciptions. This document is a work in progress and used as a guide and starting point for each position. In May of each year the Newsletter will announce which positions will be available and we ask for nominations. June is the annual meeting and if there are more nominations than open poisitons we have a ballot and vote for the on-coming board members. The board "year" then begins July 1st. We did this so board members could start their new positions in a quiet time of the year and be part of the planning process on all events from the beginning.
